他表示,去年10月政府放寬部分防疫措施,令基數較高,雖然今年是疫後首個黃金周,不過根據協會調查,受訪公司表示生意額有增加或下跌大約各佔一半,上升的類別主要與遊客市場相關,但仍有9成受訪公司指生意未及2018年10月的表現。

至於政府推出大型活動,他認為有助帶動市民外出消費氣氛,但要全面恢復夜生活仍需要一段時間。他表示,期望大型活動可進一步吸引遊客,推動市民外出,對此仍然審慎正面。
