醫管局去年9月公布推出「大灣區醫療人才交流計劃」，醫管局主席范鴻齡表示，已跟廣東省衛健委商談第二期計劃，將會有10名醫生及100名護士來港，當中數名為眼科醫生，期望明年首季來港。范說，明年亦會派本地醫護到內地交流，當中包括中醫。
