該行又指,共享數碼科技結合金融,區塊鏈塊化與其他共享數碼科技正開始在轉移性金融、新興市場、私人信貸的各自領域變得模糊化,並且形成一統的數碼生態系統。現有數碼金融系統已經可以將美國國庫券及結構性信貸產品代幣化。儘管仍然要面對營運、監管及網絡風險,其料該等新科技的使用會進一步今年進一步增加,最終達致效益。至於技術的轉移,取決於持續的基建發展而定。其預期,主要的金融機會會繼續於今年,在區塊鐽結算網絡、代幣化平台及數碼託管系統領域去領航,並會簡化發行及交易後流程。獲現金及國庫券支撐的穩定幣正用於跨境支付及回購交易,同時已見到新的基礎性區塊鏈技術之發展,會更好地滿足機構更快速、更平宣及更受監管下去處理好交易。

不過隨著市場日益轉向數碼化,穆迪料,將來圍繞智能合約及託管層面的網絡風險,將會構成主要威脅。其更指出,金融機構推進數碼軌道時,會對行業的成本結構帶來變革。當中代幣化發行及程式化結算,便有望減低營運雜費、加速流動性及流轉,及減少協調性工作。運用數碼現金工具,更能夠促成即時結算,減低融資及對手成本。不過,要體現前述益處,還需要監管機構步調一致,最近從跨區域所見的進展,已顯示得在環球層面變得更加具協調性。當中在託管、贖回及披露上有更清晰的規則,會幫助到數碼產品市場規模擴張。

該行認為,今年市場會偏好具效率、安金及可供跨基建操作的基建出現。受監管的穩定幣會在代幣化基金及數碼證券結算,會有更顯著位置,並料與傳統金融系統連繫得更順暢,改進到市場的流動性。隨著更多機構採納鏈上運作,數碼及傳統金融的差距將會收窄。
