樊亦敏自爆選港姐後嚴重脫髮

Amy說：「媽媽覺得我要出去多見人，嘗試同不同嘅人溝通，佢幫我填咗（港姐）報名表格我都唔知，但因為呢個機會，我嘅人生有唔同嘅突破。」當選1991年最上鏡小姐後，Amy要履行一年港姐合約，負責感謝贊助商和推動香港旅遊業，公司更安排她到台灣與鄭伊健、劉錫明參加TVBS活動，偏偏這時她身體出現問題。

免疫系統出現問題

Amy因為免疫系統問題幾乎甩光頭髮，她說：「雖然同公司簽咗約，但好多事情都做唔到，當初希望我主力拍劇，後來變咗做主持。」其實履行港姐合約時她已開始病，被大風吹便會暴露病情，公司叫她不要出外景，因此惹來不少耍大牌的傳言。

硬食有特權傳聞

Amy表示公司高層知道她的情況，連梳頭化妝人員也知情，化妝間本來有VIP房，不是新晉演員可以使用，但同事們專誠給她用，避免暴露病情，但就難免惹來難相處、有特權等傳聞。Amy一直感恩公司沒有放棄她，拍不到劇就讓她做主持：「人總會遇到不同嘅困難，只要你肯邁出第一步，凡事睇得簡單啲。人哋唔放棄自己，你更加唔可以放棄。」

只打過TVB一份工

她認為誤解在所難免，唯有做好自己，時間會讓大家明白。Amy幸運地康復了，可以分享自身經歷。若然好不了，她也會用另一種心態面對，轉化為正能量。Amy感恩34年前開始，在TVB打了人生第一份工作，經歷了廣播道、清水灣到將軍澳三個地方，滿是美好回憶，台前幕後人情味濃、團結性高，無論在哪個年代、甚麼經濟環境，大家都將手頭上的事做到最好。
