努力工作獲得讚賞是人人都渴求的一份肯定，作為一位三語司儀，最大的稱讚當然是客戶長期的信任及其年復年的邀請。在我超過20年的司儀生涯中，很感恩有幾個大品牌是連續合作逾15年的，現在回望都覺得十分奇妙！ 長年累月的合作讓我與很多客戶變成好朋友，有一次我忍不住問其中一位：「為甚麼你從不起用其他司儀？一年見3次，妳不怕悶嗎？」她的回應令我異常感動：「你十多年來都未曾犯錯，哪我為甚麼要換人？」原來默默耕耘是有人見到的。 還記得剛入行不久，我曾經連續6年為荃灣某商場的活動做司儀。有一次，一位穿上簡約白tee、短褲、人字拖，一身街坊造型的男子繞過一大群現場觀眾，走過來舞台旁邊找我。低頭唸着手中cue cards的我，抬頭一刻還以為對方是想合照留念的觀眾朋友，他彬彬有禮地開口：「我公司兩個月後有個周年晚宴，想邀請你擔任司儀，可以嗎？」最後我為其公司在五星級酒店筵開五十多席的周年晚宴擔任了司儀。 這次經歷讓我學會每次出場，不論場合大小，都要全力以赴，因為你永遠不會知道台下有誰在仔細觀察你的表現、靜靜地給你打分，機會只留給準備好的人。 當然，一路走來，也曾聽過一些人嗤之以鼻地說：「做司儀很容易，隨便講兩句，誰都可以！」其實如此被輕視，我倒是可以理解的。 司儀這個崗位，做得再出色，永遠都只是配角，卻是一個活動成敗的關鍵。由前期的準備工夫，包括揀選與舞台背幕主色相襯的服裝、了解公司背景、熟讀稿件，到活動當日精緻的化粧及髮型、提早兩小時到現場對稿綵排，再到開騷時的一眼關七、遇上突發情況執生。每個環節都缺一不可。 下次出席活動時，不妨望一望站在台邊的司儀，嘗試感受一下他們對工作的付出與熱誠。 ▲ （專欄作家提供） Source link
