新地主席郭炳聯表示,香港經濟有望在近期錄得溫和增長,新地將貫徹審慎的財務守則,維持出租物業和非地產業務的龐大經常性收入,並善用其高質量的信譽,加快物業發展業務的資產周轉。在不影響質素下會繼續嚴格控制成本。在未來數個年度,其預計整體建築開支將顯著回落。憑藉其財務及營運實力,他相信集團定能安然渡過目前的挑戰。

期內新地的物業發展銷售部門錄得溢利78.5億元,按年減少30.5%;淨租金收入按年增長3%至190億元。公司料,政府收回古洞北/粉嶺北地皮,可收取現金補償19億元,將於2023/24年度入賬;另被收回洪水橋/厦村地皮,將錄得現金補償27億元,預計2024/25年度入賬。在過去一年度,新地在港售樓錄得合約銷售249億元,當中196億元會於2024/25年度入賬。

儘管內地售樓市場充滿挑戰,新地指,年內在內地市場錄得合約銷售達110億元人民幣。截至6月底,其負債率才18.3%。新地還指,正積極研究發行新的點心債券和熊貓債券等其他融資選項。
