The five-time NAACP Image Awards recipient shed light on the problems she faced as a child actor in a recent episode of her podcast Tea Time with Raven & Miranda. While talking about her initial days in the industry, Raven-Symoné revealed that she underwent the first of her two breast reduction surgeries at the tender age of 15. “I went from a triple D all the way down to a B. Someone said I needed to do it in order to get a show,” the TV star said.

Born on December 10, 1985, she celebrated her 15th birthday at the turn of the millennium. According to her IMDb profile, the only series that the actor was associated with at the time was That’s So Raven, which made its small-screen debut in 2003. As such, fans have deduced that Raven-Symoné could be referring to the fan-favorite comedy show while talking about her first breast reduction surgery.

Raven-Symoné had previously revealed that there were discussions about digitally modifying her body on the said series. In an appearance on The Bright Side Podcast in October 2024, the actor stated, “There’s this really interesting thing you can do with film, when you’re in television, and you can stretch the film.” She further added, “So if you’re wide and you stretch it long ways, you look skinnier. And, there were talks about that.”
