When Seth Rollins will return to WWE gets an update
Seth Rollins, along with his wife Becky Lynch, appeared on Bret Kreischer’s YouTube cooking show Something’s Cooking. During a conversation about how Lynch won’t particularly like looking at Kreischer cut open a chicken, the comedian asks Rollins about his injury. “It doesn’t have to be nice to be hurt, but it’s gotta be nice to be hurt when you’re not working or touring as much,” Kreischer remarked.
“Yeah I mean, there’s nothing good about being hurt,” Rollins responded. “I’m trying to find the silver linings. I get to spend more time with my daughter, which is great. More time at home,” he added. Then pointing to his shoulder brace, he said, “Once I get this thing off, which is in like another month, then it might be full vacation mode for a little while, before I lock in and have to start training to get ready to comeback.”
Kreischer then questioned Rollins, asking him what his training will be like after recovering. “It’ll probably be gradual,” Rollins shared. “My guess is about 8 to 12 weeks of ‘Okay now I have to stop eating like an a–hole,’” he added. Kreischer then calculated twelve weeks to end around April, followed by Rollins saying, “So I’m hoping, around February, after all the holiday stuff, I can start to be like, ‘Okay lock in, no more BS.’”
As Lynch catches up on the conversation, she agrees with Rollins mentioning training in February. “Like after Super Bowl and stuff I would say. Like give myself a month before I come backish. Maybe, maybe, don’t even know. They say six months, so this could be April,” Rollins continued.
