Korean Show My Name Is Gabriel Episode 1: Release Date & Time

The new Korean variety show My Name Is Gabriel episode 1 will be released in June 2024 on JTBC and Disney Plus. Wonderland movie actor Park Bo-Gum and Welcome to Samdal-ri star Ji Chang-Wook will star in the upcoming reality series.

Infinite Challenge fame PD Kim Tae Ho brings a new concept to the variety show world with My Name Is Gabriel. The celebrities step in someone else’s shoes to go through a different experience. They are away from the spotlight in a place where nobody recognizes them. Some of the locations include Chiang Mai, Guadalajara, Chongqing, and Dublin.

The show’s synopsis reads, “A program where you live ‘the real life of that person’ for 72 hours under the name of one of the world’s 8 billion people in a place where no one knows you.”

My Name Is Gabriel episode 1: What is the release date & time?

My Name Is Gabriel episode 1 premieres on Friday, June 21, at 8:50 p.m. KST on JTBC. It will star South Korean celebrities, including Ji Chang-Wook, Park Bo-Gum, Yeom Hye-Ran, Park Myung-Soo, Hong Jin-Kyung, Gabee, and DEX. Defconn and Kang Min-Kyung will be the show’s MCs/main hosts.

Previously, a teaser trailer featured Chang-Wook and Gabee, who were all set to travel to Guadalajara, Mexico. On the other hand, Bo-Gum will take on things in Dublin, Ireland. Comedian Myung-Soo will head to Chiang Mai, Thailand, and The Glory star Hye-Ran will visit Chongqing, China.

In the upcoming variety show, the celebrities will experience a fame-free lifestyle. In the teaser, the Worst of Evil actor states, “Celebrities should go through more hardships like this.” Meanwhile, Park Bo-Gum shares, “I think I’d live this life if I wasn’t a celebrity.”

My Name Is Gabriel will broadcast on JTBC next Friday. The variety show will also be available to stream online on Disney Plus.

While it will air on the network at 8:50 p.m. KST, the program will likely premiere on the streamer after a few hours.
