Per recent reports, one of Will Smith’s former associates sued Jada Pinkett Smith, claiming she threatened him in the past. These threats from Pinkett Smith against Bilaal Salaam reportedly came after he was allegedly revealing details about her personal life. In the lawsuit, he describes himself as Will Smith’s “best friend for nearly 40 years.”
New report claims Jada Pinkett Smith has been sued for $3 million
A former associate of Will Smith is suing Jada Pinkett Smith for $3 million. She is being sued for allegedly threatening him physically back in 2021. He claims that Pinkett Smith came up to him with verbal threats in a hotel lobby. He says this happened during Will’s birthday party on Sept. 25, 2021.
As per Page Six, the lawsuit claims, “While in the lobby, Jada Pinkett Smith approached Plaintiff with approximately seven members of her entourage, became verbally aggressive, and threatened Plaintiff by stating that if he continued ‘telling her personal business,’ he would ‘end up missing or catch a bullet,’ and demanded he sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) ‘or else.’” Salaam also alleges that one of Pinkett Smith’s associates then followed him to his car. The associate apparently continued to make verbal threats.
The lawsuit also mentions a “retaliatory campaign” launched against him after he refused to help with the crisis management of Will Smith’s 2022 Academy Awards incident, where the actor slapped Chris Rock on stage. Moreover, Salaam’s filing alleges, “Plaintiff refused to perform tasks he believed were illegal, unethical, or morally compromising, stating his conscience would not allow him to be involved in any cover-up or deceptive PR campaign.”
Additionally, during his appearance in November 2023 on Unwine with Tasha K, Salaam claimed that he walked in on Will Smith and Duane Martin engaging in a sexual act years ago. However, Jada responded to the claim during her appearance on the Breakfast Club, saying, “It’s ridiculous, right? And it’s nonsense.”
