Infinix Note 50x is official with Dimensity 7300 Ultimate

Infinix announced the Note 50x, the fourth addition to its mid-range Note 50 series lineup. This smartphone is the most affordable of the series, featuring a Dimensity 7300 chipset, 128 GB of storage, and a rather basic screen.

The Note 50x is built around a 6.67″ LCD with HD+ resolution. It refreshes at up to 120 Hz and provides a typical brightness of 560 nits, with peak brightness reaching 672 nits. There is a punch hole for an 8 MP selfie camera.

Infinix revealed the Note 50x has the world’s first Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset. In reality, it is the same 4nm platform by Mediatek with a fancy addition in the marketing moniker – it still has a 2.5 GHz CPU and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.

The rear camera island of the Infinix Note 50x features two cameras, though we only got details on the primary one – a 50 MP sensor and an f/1.6 lens. This camera supports 4K video recording, and Infinix has included AI features like AI Eraser to help with post-processing.

The Android 15-based XOS 15 brings a few more generative AI features. There is a Wallpaper Generator, a writing assistant, the in-house voice assistant Folax as well as Circle to Search.

The phone features a 5,500 mAh battery with 45W charging and 10W wired reverse charging support. The Infinix Note 50x can endure 2,300 charge cycles, offering a stable lifespan of around 6 years — this is a significant improvement over the industry standard of 800 cycles.

The phone boasts decent durability, achieving an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification. Similar to other Note 50 models, it features a metallic finish with Sunset Spice Pink (which is technically Brown), Enchanted Purple, and Titanium Gray color options. There is also a Sea Breeze Green variant that comes with a Vegan Leather back.

The Infinix Note 50x offers two (expandable) RAM options: 6 GB or 8 GB. Prices in India are INR 11,499 ($135/€125) or INR 12,999 ($150/€140), depending on the memory.
