Welcome back to Beauty Marks: the weekly edition of Vogue’s favorite moments in celebrity beauty and the glam of the fashion and pop culture landscapes. Each week, we select the most impressive nail art, celebrities joining team bob, and red carpet glam. It’s as much about celebrity beauty as it is about the makeup artists, hairstylists, and nail artists, as well as the creators crafting the trends you’ll want to save to reference later.
This week, the afterglow of Coachella was still going strong for a radiant complexioned Victoria Monét, and GloRilla wrapped up her tour with some impressively long, two-tone curls. After debuting a shaved head at Saint Laurent last month, model Anok Yai felt herself with an auburn pixie, and Daisy Edgar-Jones kept up the side part and some sleek, working girl-esque waves as she continues to promote her movie On Swift Horses. Elsewhere in hair, Isabella Rossellini introduced us happily to her grays, embracing the new hue for her part in the forthcoming film The Bitter End.
Old Hollywood glamour continues to stay on-trend, as actor Indira Varma looked every bit of the silver screen star at the Olivier Awards. Sarah Catherine Hook leaned into the preppy vibes of the Ralph Lauren show with Gossip Girl-worthy waves. Delilah Belle, meanwhile, revelled in the icy aesthetics of the early ’00s with her choppy platinum pixie.
Artists, this week too, had a lot to say. MUA David Razzano takes a mathematics equation to the eye with some slick eyeliner, Adiam Habtezion presents wearable hair-glass sculptures, and Terry Barber takes a trip back through the new wave aesthetic. Overall, it was a week for showing off your personality and personal interests through the lens of beauty.
